the journey begins

the next day they get an early start. the first major obstacle that they encounter is 3 trolls. being very hungry and cold, from rescuing one of the ponies that ran into the river, they spotted a fire somewhere off in the distance and they send Bilbo to see if the area was clear. Unfortunately he gets trapped by the trolls. then because he did not return the dwarfs went to see where he had gone. They also got caught by the trolls. they get out of this predicament by gandalf. he imitates the trolls voices,and not being very bright they start an argument. this lasts all the way till sunrise, and if you know anything about trolls you could tell what comes next but since they are not very common today I will tell you. trolls are very strange creatures, when in sunlight trolls turn stone. then being not supervised by the trolls, that were now stone, the hobbit and the dwarfs could get away.
