Rivendell and the Misty Mountains

After getting resupplied at the Elvin kingdom of Rivendell the party begins one of the most perilous parts of the journey, the journey over the misty mountains. This part is made very difficult by goblins. I could give you a 15 page report of how they get into this predicament but I don't have the time to write it all out, not to mention that you probably don't want to read it. So to summarize the whole thing, the party gets stuck out in a ferocious thunder storm and so they find a dry cave. This cave only goes back far enough to get all of the gear and people inside so they disregard the danger that they could get captured by goblins. this is not true because when they are sleeping a opening opens up at the back of the cave and the company of travelers are captured by goblins, and from the grotesque singing from the goblins, the party is going to be tortured. (Now isn't that a nice way to treat your guests!!) When they emerged from the tunnel the room opened up to form a great hall. The great goblin recognized the company as dwarfs and was very angry. He immediately got up and started toward them. Just then Gandalf who amazingly was never caught turned all the lights off. He then led the company through the underground labyrinth. Since poor little Bilbo couldn't run as fast as the wizard or the dwarfs he had to cling on to the back of one of the dwarfs.suddenly a goblin grabbed the dwarfs leg and Bolbo fell and got left behind beacause he was knocked out!! After he came to he felt around to see where he was in the pitch blackness. As he felt around he felt a ring. (How fortunate he has found this or there would not be the trilogy called The Lord of the Rings)Bilbo then stumbles off into the darkness...
